Maybe you have experienced this type of slow healing. It's new to me. It is changing how I see everything: what's important, what's not important, how I use my time and (limited) energy. It's also changing how I approach the new year.
Welcome to Simply Organized Life! I am so glad you are here. Make your self a cup of tea and stay awhile.
All My Best, Carolyn
All in health
Maybe you have experienced this type of slow healing. It's new to me. It is changing how I see everything: what's important, what's not important, how I use my time and (limited) energy. It's also changing how I approach the new year.
How are you doing as we transition into a time change and the coming winter season? While transitions can be challenging for myself and my family, I love the opportunity nature gives us to stop, look and listen. For me, the cold dark days are a great time to turn inward. I enjoy the cozy season and the slower pace.
After all that has happened in the last few months, I am hopeful, maybe, that we humans can do better than our 2019 normal.
Most of us look forward to venturing out slowly and cautiously. We look forward to so many things we did with ease in the past. Sometime last year, I am not sure exactly when, I started a "Post COVID Bucket List".
I thought I would share my current cleaning routine as a follow up to last month's post on gratitude and habit tracking. Hopefully, this will inspire you to create your own cleaning routine, or perhaps you have a few tips to help me stay more consistent with mine.
There are so many creative ways to track our gratitude and habits. If you go to Google Images and search for "gratitude log" or "habit tracker" a seemly infinite number of beautiful ideas will appear. Through trial and error in my dot grid bullet journals, I developed a tracking format that really works for me. Because many of you have asked, I will share the simple format that I use, no special artistic skills required.
I hope you are all well: physically, emotionally and spiritually. The past few months have challenged all of us in new and unexpected ways. Along with the challenges, our "new normal" has brought beautiful and unforeseen things to the surface.
Here are a few things I am doing to get back on track and bring peaceful, calm energy to my family.
